🏠 General

Corgi Heaven Pups stands apart through our unwavering commitment to health, transparency, and ethical breeding. Unlike commercial breeders or puppy mills, we are a family-run operation where every single puppy is raised inside our home — never in kennels or separate facilities.

Every parent dog is fully DNA health-screened, OFA-evaluated, and personally known to us. We breed for temperament, health, and breed standard — never for profit or quantity. Our puppies come with a comprehensive health guarantee, complete medical records, and our lifetime breeder support.

Our promise: We treat every puppy as if we were keeping them ourselves — because we genuinely could. The only reason we let them go is because we know an amazing family is waiting for them.

🏠 General

Corgi Heaven Pups was founded in 2018, giving us over 7 years of dedicated corgi breeding experience. Since our founding, we have proudly placed over 500 healthy, happy corgi puppies into loving homes across the United States.

Our journey began with a single family corgi that sparked a lifelong passion for the breed. What started as a personal love affair with these incredible dogs grew into one of the most trusted and respected corgi breeding programs in the country.

🏠 General

Yes! All Corgi Heaven Pups puppies are AKC-registered and come with full registration papers. Both parent dogs are AKC-registered Pembroke Welsh Corgis with verified pedigrees.

Depending on the puppy's intended purpose, we offer either limited registration (pet homes — spay/neuter required) or full registration (approved breeding/show homes by application). We're happy to discuss which option is right for you.

❤️ Health

Health testing is the cornerstone of our breeding program. Every breeding dog undergoes comprehensive screening before any breeding takes place:

🧬 DNA Health Panel: DM (Degenerative Myelopathy), vWD1 (Von Willebrand's Disease), EIC (Exercise-Induced Collapse), PRA-Progressive Rod Cone Degeneration, and breed-specific genetic markers. 🦴 OFA Hip & Elbow Evaluation: X-ray screening for joint dysplasia. 👁️ CERF/OFA Eye Exam: Annual evaluation by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist. ❤️ Cardiac Evaluation: Heart screening for congenital and acquired conditions.

Full DNA health panel results for both parent dogs are provided with every puppy, so you know exactly what health clearances your puppy's parents have passed.

❤️ Health

Yes! Every Corgi Heaven puppy comes with a comprehensive written health guarantee that covers:

✅ 72-Hour Health Warranty: Full veterinary exam upon pickup — if any health issue is found, we'll cover treatment or provide a replacement puppy. ✅ 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee: Coverage against hereditary and congenital conditions documented in the parent dogs' health panels. ✅ Lifetime Support: If a genetic condition is diagnosed at any point, we'll work with you and your vet on next steps.

Our health guarantee is one of the most comprehensive in the industry because we stand behind the health of every puppy we produce.

❤️ Health

Every puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations administered by our licensed veterinarian before going home:

💉 6–8 Weeks: First DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) + first deworming. 💉 10–12 Weeks: Second DHPP booster + deworming. 💉 14–16 Weeks: Final DHPP booster + Rabies vaccine. Additional deworming treatments are administered at regular intervals throughout the puppy's time with us.

You'll receive a complete vaccination record with dates, vaccine brands, and your veterinarian's signature, along with a recommended schedule for future booster shots.

❤️ Health

Yes! Every Corgi Heaven puppy is microchipped before going home. The microchip is registered to your name and contact information, making reunification fast and easy if your dog ever becomes lost.

We use AVID or HomeAgain microchips — industry-standard identification chips recognized by shelters, vets, and pet recovery services nationwide. The microchip number and registration details are included in your puppy's going-home paperwork.

❤️ Health

We understand how worrying it can be when your new puppy isn't feeling well. Here's what to do:

Contact us immediately — we are available 24/7 for health-related emergencies. Our 72-hour health warranty covers any health issue found upon or shortly after pickup. Under our 2-year genetic health guarantee, if your puppy is diagnosed with a hereditary condition, we will cover veterinary costs, provide a replacement puppy, or issue a refund — whichever you prefer.

We also recommend establishing a relationship with a local veterinarian within 48 hours of bringing your puppy home for a baseline wellness exam.

❤️ Health

Pembroke Welsh Corgis have a typical lifespan of 12 to 15 years, with many living well into their mid-to-late teens with proper care. Some of the longest-lived corgis have reached 17+ years!

Key factors that influence corgi longevity include: genetics (health-tested parents), healthy weight management (obesity is the #1 health risk), regular veterinary care, daily exercise, and mental enrichment. Our health-tested breeding program is designed to give your puppy the best possible start for a long, healthy life.

📝 Adoption Process

Absolutely — we encourage it! We welcome approved families to visit our home, meet our dogs, and see firsthand how our puppies are raised. Visits are by appointment only to ensure the safety and comfort of our dogs and puppies.

For families who live far away, we offer live FaceTime or Zoom tours where you can see the puppies, meet the parent dogs, tour our home, and ask questions in real time. We want you to feel completely confident in your choice.

📝 Adoption Process

Our waitlist operates on a first-come, first-served basis among approved applicants:

Step 1: Submit your application and $500 deposit. Step 2: We'll confirm your spot and your preferences (color, gender). Step 3: When a matching litter is born, you'll receive photos and updates. Step 4: Select your specific puppy at 4–5 weeks old (based on your position in the queue).

Typical wait times are 2–6 months depending on your preferences and current waitlist position. We keep you updated with weekly photos as your puppy grows!

📝 Adoption Process

Puppies go to their forever homes at 8–10 weeks of age. This timeline ensures puppies have:

✅ Completed their first round of vaccinations. ✅ Been fully weaned and eating solid food. ✅ Received initial socialization, handling, and early training. ✅ Passed their veterinary health exam. ✅ Been microchipped and health-certified.

We believe 8–10 weeks is the optimal age for puppies to bond with their new families while having received adequate early care and socialization.

📝 Adoption Process

Yes! We offer multiple delivery options to make getting your puppy home as convenient as possible:

🏠 Personal Pickup: Visit our home to pick up your puppy in person — our recommended option! ✈️ Airline Pet Nanny: A professional pet transport specialist flies your puppy in-cabin directly to your nearest airport. 🚐 Ground Delivery: For families within driving distance, we can arrange professional ground transport. 🏠 Meet Halfway: We're happy to meet you at a convenient halfway point.

Shipping costs vary by distance and method. We'll discuss all options and costs during the matching process so there are no surprises.

📝 Adoption Process

We understand that circumstances can change. If for any reason you are unable to keep your puppy, we require that the dog be returned to us at any point in its life, no questions asked. We will never allow one of our puppies to end up in a shelter or rescue.

Refund policies are outlined in our purchase contract. The $500 deposit is non-refundable. Balance refunds may be offered on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances and timing. Our primary goal is always the safety and well-being of the puppy.

📝 Adoption Process

Currently, we primarily sell to families within the United States and Canada. International sales are considered on a case-by-case basis and require additional documentation, quarantine compliance, and import regulations for the destination country.

If you're interested in purchasing from outside the U.S., please contact us directly to discuss feasibility, logistics, and any additional requirements that may apply.

🐾 Care & Training

Every puppy goes home with a sample of their current food and a detailed feeding guide. We recommend the following premium brands:

🥇 Royal Canin Small Puppy · 🥇 Purina Pro Plan Small Breed Puppy · 🥇 Orijen Puppy · 🥇 Farmina N&D Puppy

Feed 3–4 small meals per day until 6 months, then transition to 2 meals per day. Always provide fresh water and avoid overfeeding — corgis are extremely prone to obesity. We'll provide a specific portion guide based on your puppy's weight.

🐾 Care & Training

Despite their short legs, corgis are athletic, energetic herding dogs that need:

🐾 Puppies (8w–6mo): 20–30 minutes daily in short play sessions. 🐕 Adolescents (6–18mo): 30–45 minutes daily. 🦮 Adults (18mo–8yr): 45–60 minutes daily minimum. 👴 Seniors (8+yr): 30–45 minutes with lower-impact activities.

Best activities include brisk walks, fetch, agility training, swimming, puzzle toys, and mental enrichment. A well-exercised corgi is calm, happy, and well-behaved. Under-exercised corgis may develop barking, destructive behavior, and weight gain.

🐾 Care & Training

Yes! Corgis are wonderful family dogs and generally do exceptionally well with children. Their sturdy, compact build makes them resilient playmates, and their playful, affectionate nature makes them natural companions for kids of all ages.

Corgis are patient, loyal, and protective of their family members — including the youngest ones. We always recommend supervising interactions between young children and any dog, and teaching children how to handle dogs gently and respectfully. Our puppies are socialized with children from an early age.

🐾 Care & Training

Corgis can coexist happily with other pets when properly socialized from a young age. They typically get along well with other dogs and can learn to live peacefully with cats and other household pets.

Because corgis have strong herding instincts, they may try to "herd" cats or smaller animals by nipping at their heels or circling. This is natural behavior that can be managed with training and early socialization. Our puppies are raised with other household pets, giving them a great foundation for multi-pet homes.

🐾 Care & Training

Corgis have a dense double coat that requires regular maintenance:

🖌️ Brushing: 3–5 times per week (daily during shedding season, which occurs twice a year). 🛁 Bathing: Every 4–8 weeks. 💅 Nail Trimming: Every 2–3 weeks. 👂 Ear Cleaning: Weekly checks, clean as needed. 🦷 Teeth Brushing: 3–5 times per week.

Important: Never shave your corgi! Their double coat regulates body temperature in both hot and cold weather. Shaving can cause permanent coat damage and overheating.

🐾 Care & Training

Training begins the moment your puppy comes home! Corgis are incredibly intelligent and start learning from day one. Here's a recommended timeline:

🏠 Day 1: Name recognition, crate introduction, potty training basics. 📅 Week 1–2: Sit, name response, leash introduction, crate comfort. 📅 Weeks 3–8: Down, stay, come, leave it, socialization outings. 📅 Months 3–6: Advanced obedience, leash manners, trick training. 📅 6+ months: Public access training, agility introduction, off-leash reliability.

We start potty training, name recognition, crate introduction, and socialization with every puppy before they leave our care. We provide a detailed training guide with your adoption packet.

🐾 Care & Training

Yes! Corgis can adapt well to apartment living as long as they receive adequate daily exercise and mental stimulation. Their moderate size (25–30 lbs) makes them suitable for smaller spaces.

Key requirements for apartment corgis: ✅ Minimum 45–60 minutes of daily outdoor exercise. ✅ Mental enrichment (puzzle toys, training sessions). ✅ Proper socialization to reduce barking triggers. ✅ Potty training consistency (schedule-based bathroom breaks).

🐾 Care & Training

We provide a complete puppy preparation checklist with every adoption. Here are the essentials:

🛏️ Crate (appropriately sized for adult corgi) · 🍽️ Food & water bowls (stainless steel) · 📦 Quality puppy food (we'll tell you the exact brand) · 🧸 Chew toys & puzzle toys (Kong, Nylabone, snuffle mat) · 🛏️ Comfortable bed · 🦮 Adjustable harness & leash (front-clip recommended) · 🚽 Puppy pads or grass patch · 🧹 Enzymatic cleaner for accidents · 📋 Puppy-proofing: Secure electrical cords, remove toxic plants, block small spaces, secure trash cans.

🐾 Care & Training

Our relationship with you doesn't end at pickup — it lasts a lifetime! We provide:

📞 24/7 Phone/Text Support: Call or text us anytime with questions, concerns, or just to share cute puppy photos. 📋 Training Guidance: Ongoing advice on obedience, socialization, behavioral questions, and recommended resources. 🥗 Nutritional Support: Help with diet transitions, food recommendations, and weight management. 🏥 Health Support: Guidance on vet visits, vaccinations, and any health concerns. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Community: Access to our private Corgi Heaven families group where you can connect with other puppy parents.

🔬 Breeding

Yes — we encourage it! We believe that meeting the parent dogs gives you valuable insight into your puppy's potential temperament, size, and appearance.

For in-person visits, you'll have the opportunity to meet both the sire (father) and dam (mother), observe their personalities, and see how they interact with people. For remote families, we provide videos, photos, and live video calls with the parent dogs.

🔬 Breeding

Our breeding philosophy is built on three pillars:

🧬 Health & Genetics: We breed only from fully health-tested parents with clear genetic panels, OFA evaluations, and cardiac screenings. We never pair two dogs that carry the same recessive health conditions. ❤️ Temperament & Socialization: We select for calm, confident, affectionate temperaments and provide comprehensive socialization from day one. 🏠 Welfare & Environment: Small litters, generous whelping spaces, veterinary oversight, and a home environment where every puppy receives individual attention.

We breed quality over quantity — intentionally keeping our program small to maintain the highest standards of care for every dog and puppy.

🔬 Breeding

100% home environment — always. All of our dogs live inside our family home as beloved members of our family. They sleep inside, play in the yard, interact with our children, and experience all the sights, sounds, and daily rhythms of a real household.

We do not use kennels, cages, or separate facilities. This is a core value that directly impacts the quality, temperament, and socialization of every puppy we produce. Puppies raised in a home environment develop confidence, adaptability, and strong bonds with people.

🔬 Breeding

We produce both pet-quality and show-quality puppies, depending on how closely each puppy conforms to the AKC breed standard. Every puppy is evaluated at 6–8 weeks of age by experienced breeders to assess structure, coat, color, and overall breed type.

Pet-quality puppies are sold with limited AKC registration (spay/neuter required) at our standard pricing. Show-quality puppies may be available with full registration for approved show/breeding homes — pricing varies and is discussed on an individual basis.

Regardless of classification, every puppy receives the same exceptional health testing, socialization, care, and love. Pet-quality simply means minor cosmetic differences from the breed standard — not health or temperament differences.

🏠 General

While both are Welsh corgis, the Pembroke and Cardigan are distinct breeds with different origins:

👑 Pembroke Welsh Corgi: Smaller (25–30 lbs), fox-like face, pointed ears, docked or naturally short tail. More energetic and playful. The breed we specialize in at Corgi Heaven Pups. 🦊 Cardigan Welsh Corgi: Slightly larger (30–38 lbs), rounded ears, longer tail, broader head. More reserved and calm. An older breed with separate lineage.

Both breeds are intelligent, loyal, and affectionate — but Pembrokes are generally more outgoing and energetic, while Cardigans tend to be more laid-back and steady. They should not be bred together as they are separate breeds.
